Efficient:

In several applications (especially off-grid solar and/or wind), energy efficiency can be critical. The round-trip energy efficiency (from 100% discharge to 0% charge and back to 100% charge) of the average lead-acid battery is 80%.

The round trip energy efficiency of an LFP battery is 92%. Lead-acid battery recharging becomes very inefficient when the battery reaches 80 % of its capacity, leading to an efficiency of 50 % or less for solar systems that need reserve energy for several days (battery operating at 70 to 100 % of its capacity).

An LFP battery, on the other hand, will continue to operate at 90% efficiency even when discharged.

Battery Management System

Our LFP batteries are equipped with built-in cell balancing and cell monitoring. Up to ten batteries can be in parallel and up to four batteries can be in series so that a 48V battery bank of up to 3000Ah can be assembled.

The cell balancing/monitoring cables can be daisy-chained and must be connected to a battery management system (BMS). Battery Management System (BMS)
The BMS will:
1. Disconnect or shut down the load whenever the voltage of any one cell of the battery drops to less than 2.5 volts.
2.Stop charging when a battery cell voltage rises above 4.2V.

3. to shut down the system when the temperature of a battery cell rises above 50°C. Other functions may be included: see individual BMS data sheets.
